Little Current dancer one of the North’s best

SUDBURY— Kyleigh Biedermann of Little Current, one of the students of Project Dance in Sudbury, is dancing her way to the top in the Northern Ontario competitive circuit.

Kyleigh is part of Project Dance’s part-time competitive team. Over the last few months she has competed at The View Dance Challenge in North Bay and Fever Dance Championships in Collingwood. She competed in group categories for Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop and Tap. Kyleigh and her team received gold and high gold awards as well as first and second placements for their dances. The team also received a special award for their exceptional performances in their hip hop routine and placed Top 5 Overall in the Intermediate Large Group category at Fever for their Lyrical group.

Kyleigh also competed a Jazz solo in which she received a gold and placed first in her category. The Little Current dancer also placed fourth in the Overall Intermediate Solo category at Fever.

Kyleigh travels to Sudbury two nights a week to dance—sometimes more if there are additional rehearsals.

“We are incredibly proud of Kyleigh and her accomplishments this season,” Briana Fram of Project Dance told The Expositor.
