Howard-DeathLeta Howard of Gore Bay passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Manitoulin Lodge, on Sunday, January 18, 2015 in her 84th year. Beloved mother of Jim and Ed of Sudbury, Ken, Alfred Jr. (Tracey), both of Guelph, Jerry (Michelle) of Grand Valley, Chris (Sylvie) of Richmond Hill, Roger of Mindemoya, Sally (Jim) Lanktree and Cathy Haskett, both of Gore Bay, Marlene Howard of Guelph and Paula (Gary) Kirkby of Bowmanville. Leta will be missed by her 13 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson, as well as brothers Joe, Lawrence, Ivan and Ron and sisters Nellie, Ann and Brenda as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her husband Alfred, parents Austin and Joyce (Cornelius) Brandow, two brothers and four sisters. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations may be made to the Manitoulin Lodge Auxiliary or charity of choice as expressions of sympathy.
