It’s on to league finals for Gore Bay fastball

GORE BAY—With their win over the Kaboni Tigers earlier this week, Gore Bay will now be going to the league championship playoff finals in the Manitoulin Island Men’s Fastball League.

Gore Bay defeated Kaboni 9-2 in game four on Monday to take their best three of five semi-final series in four games.

Gore Bay finished first in the regular season standings this year.

In the other semi-final playoff series, as of press deadline this week, Mindemoya leads the Wikwemikong Lumberjacks two games to one in their best three of five series.
