Larry of Espanola passed away at Sudbury Health Sciences North on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at the age of 62. Beloved husband of Jane (nee Hnatuik). Dear son of the late Arthur and Nora (Tremblay) Whissell. Loving father of Denis of Chelmsford and Paul (wife Shannon) of Coniston. Cherished grandfather of Miranda, Veronica and Julia. Dear brother of Norman Whissell (wife Iris) of Edmonton, Alta, Norma Richmond (husband Gary) of Wahnapitae and the late Lorraine Racicot. Larry was a 30 year member of Knights of Columbus, 3rd degree. At family request there will be no visitation or funeral. Cremation. Interment of ashes in the Espanola Cemetery at a later date in the spring. If so desired, donations to the Espanola Regional Hospital Foundation or Health Science Centre, Sudbury.
