May 10, 2001 – July 22, 2019
In Loving Memory of Kyle Russell Benedict, May 10, 2001 to July 22, 2019. Beloved big brother to his sister Aurora. Only son of William Benedict and Samantha Davis (partner Robert Parrell). Also, best friend of Alex Van Der Doe, all from Chatham, Ontario. Grandson of John and Velma Benedict from Niagara Falls, Ontario and Cindy and the late Sam Davis from Spring Bay, Ontario. Kyle loved to be with people, family and friends. He also enjoyed hanging out with his sister Aurora (Miss Lynn). Kyle very much enjoyed playing hockey for about 8 years before he decided to dedicate his time fully to the Cadets. He was a proud member of the 59th Legion Highlander Royal Canadian Army Cadets. He often talked of the 59th’s achievements and buddies he had made in his army family. He may not have known how many lives he touched in his short 18 years, but as his family and friends know, the number was great. Kyle will be forever missed by his great uncles, great aunts and many uncles, aunts and cousins whether blood or loved. Family and friends gathered at the Providence Bay Community Centre on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at 2 pm.
