MANITOWANING—The 3rd annual Knox United Church charity golf tournament planning is underway and will take place at Rainbow Ridge golf course on Tuesday, July 12 with a 9 am check in and a 10 am shotgun start.
Tickets are $110 which includes green fees, shared cart, participation in all contests, box lunch, water and goodie bag followed by a delicious chicken and rib dinner. Tickets purchased by June 1 will receive a $10 discount. A $15 discount will be applied for members and also for players with their own cart. Participants paying by July 5 will be entered into a draw for one of four free tickets to the 2018 tournament. And to top it off, each player receives a $25 charitable donation receipt. In addition to prizes, there will be a silent auction and more!
To date, over $21,500 has been raised and shared 50/50 between the Knox Building Fund and many of the local charitable organizations in the Manitoulin community. The same will be done this year.
Larry and Tom from the Manitowaning Mill Home Building Centre have once again agreed to be the Title Sponsors for this significant community fund raising event.
