You join the ranks of all the people who make up the Manitoulin Island
To the Expositor:
I too wish to celebrate with everyone, Islanders and beyond, our own Alicia McCutcheon’s being awarded a stellar international scholarship. She is continuing the legacy left and still being added to by her dad Rick McCutcheon.
I have no doubt that she will indeed raise that bar in her ongoing awards and accolades. To me, personally, she is a true ambassador for our part of the world.
Thanks Alicia for keeping the Island on the front page internationally with your exceptional talent in journalism as well as being an excellent example of how a corporate community citizenship unfolds. Certainly as documented in the paper, a humble response.
Ms. McCutcheon, you join the ranks of all the special people who make up the Manitoulin Island—the people that you report on faithfully. You now are along with the others you write about one of those individuals that brings to life the comment that you are not only from the Manitoulin, you are Manitoulin.
