In loving memory of Kenneth Fredrick Campbell who died peacefully at Manitoulin Lodge, Gore Bay on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the age of 86. Born in Evansville, Manitoulin Island. Predeceased by father John E. Campbell in 1978 and mother Violet (Hurdle) Campbell in 1996. In 1949 Ken married his sweetheart Lois (Sloss) Campbell. They farmed together in Evansville for 20 years, then moving to Roche’s Point on Lake Simcoe’s Shores in 1969 and together they managed an Estate for 15 years. They retired back on the Manitoulin in 1984, buying a home in Treasure Trails Subdivision beside Lake Mindemoya, as age encroached more change was required. An Adherent of Mindemoya Missionary Church, Ken enjoyed reading, hunting, and nature in the great outdoors. Brother-in-law of Ivan Sloss (predeceased in 2005) and sister-in-law Marel (Sloss) Legge (predeceased in 2012). Ken will be cremated with burial of ashes in Grimesthorpe Cemetery. No Services.
