Joseph William Baker of Elliot Lake and formerly of Barrie Island passed away peacefully at St. Joseph General Hospital, Elliot Lake on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 in his 88th year. Joe will be sadly missed by his wife June of Elliot Lake, children John (Sharon) of Scarborough, Janis Baker of Whitby, Joe-Ann (John) Lewis of Spring Bay, Jeanna (Rick) Leies of Arthur and Susan Rawn of Fort Erie. He will be always remembered by his 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents John and Amelia Baker, daughter Kathy Rawn, brothers Charlie, Ted, Kerwood and sisters Mary, Carol, Susie, Jeane and Ashsa. A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at the Burpee Mills Complex, from 12 pm to 2 pm. Interment in Mills Cemetery.
