JOHN HANSEN OLIVER
CORBIERE
January 5, 1967 – December 22, 2019
In Loving Memory of Hansen Corbiere, a resident of M’Chigeeng First Nation passed away on December 22, 2019, at the age of 52 years old. He has begun his journey into the spirit world where he’ll meet his mom, dad, sister and brother. Son of the late Alphones J. and Catherine Corbiere. Brother to Bill and Ivan (predeceased), sisters Anne and Wilma (predeceased). Survived by Laura Jean (Joe) of M’Chigeeng, Ida (Don) of Kenora and Ruby (Rick) of Mindemoya. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by Jonas, Danny and Emery. Beloved father to Maureen (Derick) of Sudbury, Wayne (Beaterice) of Sudbury. Grandpa to McKinley, Hayden, Lilly, Tanner, Samantha, Kylie and Andrianna. Special godfather to Cierra Anwhatin. Hansen had a happy spirit every time we were together. He enjoyed hunting and camping with his sister Laura Jean. He knew carpentry and made Hope Chests. He enjoyed having his favorite beer “Blue”. His laugh was unique, he always had more happy days than sad days. When he made jokes he couldn’t really put it together but we figured it out so it was still funny. Not a day would go by where he wouldn’t tell us he loved us. Visitation was Friday, December 27, 2019 at 11 am at Saswaahns Spiritual Centre. Funeral Mass was Monday, December 30, 2019 at 11am at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial followed in the M’Chigeeng Cemetery.
