It is with great sadness that the family of Jennifer Dawne Debassige announces the sudden and unexpected passing of Jennifer on Friday, May 31, 2013 at her home. Dearly loved daughter of Malcolm and Helen Debassige, sister of Dianne (Neil) Debassige. Predeceased by her brother Joshua. Granddaughter of Veikko and Majlis Alatyppo of Sudbury. Predeceased by grandparents John and Florence Debassige of M’Chigeeng. Aunt of Darci and Aspen. Loving niece of Dorothy (Edward) Fox, Jimmy (Colleen) Shawagonawabe, Marit (Ian) Hanna, Leo (Chris) Alatyppo, Allan (Pam) Alatyppo, Anita Alatyppo, and predeceased by Myrna and Greg Hildebrand. Jennifer will be missed by her many cousins far and near. Survived by her devoted and very special four-legged companions, Rupert and Floyd. Respecting Jennifer’s wishes, cremation has taken place. All are welcome to attend a celebration of Jennifer’s life that will take place on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 1 pm at 73 Johnny’s Park Drive, M’Chigeeng First Nation, Manitoulin Island (home of Sheila and Richard Panton), and Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 12 noon at 11 Birch Lane, McDougall (home of Malcolm and Helen in Parry Sound). If desired, donations can be made to Pet Save on Manitoulin Island or to Almaguin All Animal Rescue in the Parry Sound area. Forever loved and never forgotten. Baa ma pii Gawaabmin.
