MANITOULIN–Rainbow Schools in Sudbury, Espanola and Manitoulin will host information nights for Full Day Every Day Junior and Senior Kindergarten registrations. All parents/guardians and children are invited to attend.
Information Nights will take place from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm on Tuesday, January 21 at Assiginack Public School (Principal Margaret Stringer), Central Manitoulin Public School (Principal Tracey Chapman), Charles C McLean Public School (Principal Christy Case), and Little Current Public School (Principal Jamie Mohamed). Schools offering English and French Immersion will host one information night on Thursday, January 23, 2014. For enrolment in Junior Kindergarten, your child must be four years of age by December 31, 2014. For enrolment in Senior Kindergarten, your child must be five years of age by December 31, 2014.
When registering your child, please bring his/her identification documents including birth certificate, birth registry/baptismal certificate, Ontario Health Card and immunization record.
Parents/guardians can enroll their children in the English Program or the French Immersion Program.
The English Program is exclusively in English and includes a Core French component, which begins in Grade 4. Students learn basic French through songs, games, drama and interactive activities for a specified period of time daily.
