James (Jim) Bassingthwaite passed away at Vancouver General Hospital on Monday, July 30, 2013 in his 81st year. Predeceased by his wife Edie (2003). Survived by three daughters Lynn (Jeff), Julie (Rocky, and Leslie (late Barry). Eleven grandchildren Garry (Krista), Tammy (Jason), Amy (John David), Kristin, Jeremy (Jerrica), Kyle, Alissa (Dean), Jarret, Tyler (Jeselle), Kara, and Corey. Seven great-grandchildren Julisa, Riley, John Tanner, Jaden, Caden, Nyx, and Bradley. Brother of Ted (Mae), Jean (late Ron), Nora (late Larry), Ivy (late Bob), Bill (Lynn), Mary Lou (late Colin), Carol (Reg), and Ron (Jan). Jim had a long enjoyable life that he lived to the fullest. He will be greatly missed.
