JACOB (KENNETH) ELIAS SHIGWADJA
January 9, 1959 – October 31, 2016
In loving memory of Jacob (Kenneth) Elias Shigwadja, a resident of Wikwemikong who passed away on October 31, 2016 at the age of 57. Beloved son of Margaret Shigwadja (Takwadjiwan) and the late Emerick Shigwadja. Kenneth was loved and cherished by his children Jenni-Lee, Candace, Dylan, Blossom, mother of children, Jean, and grandchildren Taylor, Grant, Lily (predeceased), and Braiden. Kenneth will be missed by his siblings Joe Alex (Kim), Elizabeth (Wayne), Bartelo, Dorothy (Victor), Debbie-Ann, Harold, Fred (Delores), Glenda (Wilfred), Mark (Michelle), Patrick, and Tim; by his godchildren Anna, Maxine, Geraldine, and Franklin; his in-laws Angeline, Bruce (Theresa), Randy, Connie, Deano (Shelly), Jessy (Darcy), and Sonya; his special friend Donald Jacko; his blood brother Tony Lewis; and his dogs Bebe (predeceased), Princess, and Murphy. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Kenneth enjoyed playing guitar, listening to classic country music, working on his crafts, wood carving, leather work, and working outdoors, including logging and fishing. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. He valued family time and helping others. Wake service was at St. Ignatius Church, Buzwah from 5 pm Friday, November 4, 2016.
