In Loving Memory of Ivan Madahbee, a member of Aundeck Omini Kaning passed away peacefully at the Wikwemikong Nursing Home, on Wednesday December 25, 2019 at the age of 86. Born to Mary Louise (nee Corbiere) and Peter Madahbee on February 22, 1933. Survived by loving wife Ursula Madahbee and common-law partner Lisa Belleau. Father of Melvin (Melvina), Georgina (Don), Dan (Lori, predeceased), Robert (Gina), Cecil (Caroline), Raymond (Sheila), Richard, Andrew (predeceased), Eddie (predeceased), Valene Belleau, Krista Belleau and special grandson Adam Madahbee. Survived by siblings Anne Bayer, Archie Madahbee, Pat Madahbee, Patsy Corbiere, Anita Panamick and predeceased by eight sisters and three brothers. Grandfather and uncle to many. Ivan was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved the outdoors. He was a fishing guide for 17 years at Errington’s Wilderness Resort. He worked for the Canadian Pacific Railway for 10 years.
