bill-family4 — Free pizza! Billings township volunteer firefighters Martin Connell, Jim Chambers and Bill Orford were handing out free pizza and hot dogs as part of the Billings Winter Festival activities.

Many children of all ages took part in the costume skate held at the local arena as part of the Family Fun Day in Gore Bay on Sunday, February 16. The event was one of many organized through the Gore Bay Community Spirit and Events committee and the local Lions Club, seen left, and Girl Guides chapter.
