Just heard on the 5:30 am CBC news from Sudbury that an island near Brazil is claiming to be the largest freshwater island in the world. I have just finished reading the current copy of Canadian Geographic and they have a 60 question quiz in it and on page 44, Question 2 asks: “What is the largest freshwater island in the world?” and if you go to page 79 for the answer it is your beautiful island of Manitoulin. There you have it.
