Hovingh family seeks memories of their husband, father

Please send your memories to The Expositor to be passed onto family

MANITOULIN – Following the tragic passing of their beloved husband and father on Thursday, November 19, the Hovingh family is asking for the Island community to share its memories of Provincial Constable (PC) Marc Hovingh.

At the family’s request, The Expositor will assist with compiling the memories which will be turned into a book of remembrance.

Perhaps it was a time you spoke to PC Hovingh during a traffic stop that turned into a meaningful encounter, or the officer responded to a sensitive call and left you feeling safe and secure. Maybe it was a friendly chat at the arena or a sincere exchange following a church service. Whatever the moment, the family would like to capture it.

If you have a special memory of PC Hovingh that you would like to share with the family, please email it to editor@manitoulin.com with ‘Hovingh memory’ in the subject line. Memories can also be shared by mail to The Manitoulin Expositor c/o Hovingh memory PO Box 369, Little Current, Ontario P0P 1K0, by fax to 705-368-3822 or dropped off to The Expositor Office.

All memories are private and confidential to be shared with the family only and are not for publication.

Let’s help the Hovingh family create a special keepsake in this time of great loss.
