Henry (Alibee) Robert Simon Mishibinijima

March 18, 1946 – September 11, 2012

Henry (Alibee) Robert Simon Mishibinijima, a resident of Wikwemikong, passed away at Health Sciences North, Sudbury, on September 11, 2012 at the age of 66. Son of the late Ignatius and Victoria (Wassegijig) Mishibinijima. Henry was loved by Marie; his children Barry (Loretta), April, Abby (husband Bobby), Kirk (wife Melanie); step-children Rodney, Connie, Yvette (Kenny); 31 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and his siblings Lina (predeceased), Thomas (Lucy), Shirley, Leonard, Josephine, James (Jean), Raymond (predeceased), Malcome (Linda), Stella (Wayne), Catherine (Syd) and Mark; godchildren Crystal, Randy and Donovan. Sadly missed by special friend Al, and by many nieces and nephews. Henry enjoyed building and fixing things, he was very handy, and knew about everything. He worked for Darcy Soloman Construction, Wikemikong Housing, Chapleau Lumber, Lands and Forests, Sudbury Area, Fielding Forestry Products, LaCloche Island and Newberry Michigan Forestry. Henry enjoyed camping and his dog Copper. Family and friends called at the St. Ignatius Church, Buzwah from 4 pm Wednesday, September 12, 2012 with the Funeral Service at 11 am on Friday, September 14, 2012 at Holy Cross Mission. Cremation. Arrangements entrusted with Island Funeral Home, Little Current.
