MANITOULIN—The Manitoulin-Sudbury District Services Board (DSB), which provides Emergency Medical Services (EMS) in the LaCloche and Manitoulin Island areas, has organized two food basket drives to support local Christmas food basket campaigns.
On Manitoulin Island donations will go to the Manitoulin Help Centre food bank in support of its Christmas food basket campaign. Donations from Espanola will go towards the Blessing Families 2013 Campaign.
Paramedics will be at FreshCo in Espanola, Orr’s Valu-Mart in Little Current, and Island Foodland in Mindemoya on Friday, December 13 from 4 to 7 pm and Saturday, December 14 from 9 am to 12 noon.
Join them to donate and meet some of the area’s DSB paramedics. Children will also have the opportunity to explore the ambulance.
