HELEN JOANNE TILSTON
1934– 2016
Helen Joanne Tilston passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, February 24, 2016. She was born in 1934 in Toronto, Canada and spent her childhood growing up in Detroit, MI. At 24-years-old Helen gave birth to her only child, Gregory Gene Tilston. She moved to Burbank, CA for the next 35 years, then moved to Valencia, CA. She spent 31 years working for Anheuser-Busch Company as an accountant. Helen has spent the last 22 years enjoying retirement. She is survived by her son Gregory, his wife Isabelle, and two grandchildren Taylor and Trevor Tilston; her brothers Michael (Joan) Tilston and Peter (Irene) Tilston; her sister Pat (Claude) Kerr; her cousin Glen (Beth) McDougall. “We will miss you! You were one of a kind!” Private services are pending on Manitoulin Island in Canada.
