In loving memory of Brian Hunter, a resident of Silver Water, who died at the Manitoulin Health Centre, Mindemoya on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at the age of 74 years. He was born in Schumacher, son of the late Harold and Tena (Mackey) Hunter. Brian had been a mechanic all his life, enjoying working with any type of vehicle or machinery. He also enjoyed going to the coffee club and driving around the lake. Brian was a member of the Gore Bay Masonic Lodge #472 AF and AM. One of his favourite times was spending time at the hunt camp, visiting and socializing with family and friends. Brian is survived by his loving wife Wilda (Bowerman) Hunter. Loved father of Larry (Alberta) of Kagawong, Gary (Gail) of Gore Bay, Scott (Cynthia) of Silver Water and Stephen (Debby) of Alberta. Will be missed by grandchildren Michelle (predeceased), Sara (Andrew), Jen (Darren), Cody, Dylan, Justin, Taylor, Michelle and Faithe and great-grandchildren Jade and Dainen. Dear brother of Ron (Loretta) of Carleton Place and Beth McDougall (Glen) of Providence Bay. In keeping with Brian’s wishes, cremation will take place. A private family celebration of Brian’s life will be held at a later date. If so desired, donations to the Gore Bay Medical Centre or the “Tree of Life” at Mindemoya Hospital would be appreciated and may be arranged through the funeral home.
