Members of the First Western Manitoulin Guiding unit held a Mothers Day market at the Gore Bay community hall on April 20. Members of the guiding unit, including Emma Chaytor, Kiley DeRoche, Sophia Hubbard, Lexi Phelps, Lilly Phelps and Abby Lauber pose for a photograph during the event. There were 15 vendors displaying their wares at booths in the community hall, with a chili luncheon, silent auction, and colouring table for children. Proceeds raised from the market event will go towards Girl Guide planning for a Great Wolf Lodge trip, and a camping trip the guides are taking part in this month.
