The Gordon Women’s Institute held a pancake breakfast and sugar bush tour last weekend. Tons of Islanders and visitors flocked to the West End to take in the family fun and enjoy the maple syrup season. In addition to serving up an impressive breakfast complete with real maple syrup, there were tours of Brian Bainborough’s organic sugar bush and demonstrations of the maple syrup process.
