GLADYS IRENE CADIEUX

Cadieux-DeathFormer resident of Mindemoya and Little Current, died peacefully at Manitoulin Centennial Manor on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at the age of 93. Born to Elizabeth Hammond and Lawrence Edmond Tann at Sandfield Township, Manitoulin on July 16, 1921. Predeceased by her first husband Charlie Wood and second husband Charlie Cadieux. Dear sister of Lorna Van Horne (predeceased), Clifford Tann and wife Marie of Mindemoya, Ronald Tann (predeceased) wife Ann Marie of Mindemoya. Loved sister-in-law of Bernice Sloss (husband Verdun predeceased), Myrtle Wood, both of Little Current, and Lorne Wood and wife Marie of Sault Ste. Marie, Clayton Van Horne and Glenna. Predeceased by Len Wood (wife Betty) Alvin Wood (1st wife Aleta) (2nd wife Stella), Elmer (wife Doreen surviving), Norman Wood, Edith Bayer (husband Jack), Florence Bayer, (husband George), Vera Shering (1st husband Joe Armstrong) (2nd husband Monty), Stella Wood. Will always be remembered by step-children Rochelle and husband Wayne Neal, Paul Cadieux and wife Margaret, Sherry (husband Dave Hambly predeceased), Michelle (predeceased) husband Ernie McDermid, Pierre Cadieux and wife Theresa, and many step-grandchildren. Will be missed by brother-in-law Ted Cadieux and wife Joan. Will always be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends gathered at Island Funeral Home from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm on Sunday, October 26, 2014. Funeral Services were held at 11 am at Little Current United Churcd on Monday, October 27, 2014 with Rev. Faye Stevens officiating. Burial at Mindemoya Cemetery. Donations to Manitoulin Health Centre Auxiliary or Little Current United Church would be greatly appreciated.
