GERALDINE MARY KNOWLAN

November 20, 1925 – April 21, 2012

In loving memory of Geraldine Knowlan, a resident of the Manitoulin Lodge and formerly of Kagawong and Lively, who died at the Lodge on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the age of 86 years. She was born in New Brunswick, daughter of the late Alphonse and Annie (Breault) Arseneau. Gerry had worked as a store clerk in Moncton and Lively. She had a variety of interests such as playing cards, dancing and loved bingo, being known as the “Bingo Queen.” In her earlier years, she was an avid speed skater. Geraldine is survived by Don Graham and his family, sons Dennis of Sudbury, Kenneth (Jocelyn) of Naughton and Kevin (Sarah) of Lively. Loved grandmother of Jordan, Lauren, Tyler and Matthew. Dear sister of Leona of New Brunswick. Predeceased by sisters Cecile and Bernadette and brothers Roland and Real. In keeping with Geraldine’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside committal will take place at Kagawong Cedars Cemetery on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 1 pm. Culgin Funeral Home, Gore Bay, 705-282-2270.
