“This is 2015, not the 1900s”
To the Expositor:
So, I am upset. EXP is doing road construction in Mindemoya. I return home and find a letter from them tucked in my door. They are a big international firm. They should definitely know better. They addressed the letter ‘DEAR SIR!’
I own my own home. I am clearly not a SIR. I know that there are many women in this area who also head up their own households. This is totally unacceptable. This is 2015 not the 1900s. EXP would not send a letter to everyone in Mindemoya addressed, ‘DEAR MADAM.’
