Frederick John Roy, a resident of M’Chigeeng, died peacefully at Health Sciences North, Sudbury on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at the age of 73. Born to Agnes Roy Debassige and David Roy at M’Chigeeng on May 31, 1941. Survived by daughters April, Denise, Marcella, sons Kenneth, Freddie, wife Vanessa, sisters Nancy, Mary, Florence, brother Stewart, stepchildren Bruce and Tanya. Predeceased by his parents, sister Maggie, brother Ivan, and son Wayne. Will always be remembered by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and extended family. Fred loved Elvis, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, motorcycles, fishing trips with April and pizza. Family and friends gathered at Saswaahns Spiritual Centre on Friday, December 26, 2014 from 1 pm to 8:30 pm. Funeral Services were held at Immaculate Conception Church on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 11 am with Father Henk van Meijel officiating. Cremation to follow.
