Firefighters had held two food collection events recently, with members of the public graciously donating the food items and personal hygiene items along with a total of $623.50 in cash towards the Food Cupboard. “This was our second annual food drive held for the food cupboard, and we were very appreciative for the tremendous support of the community,” said Gore Bay Fire Chief Mike Addison.
