Crop Caravan Agenda
On Monday, July 18, OMAFRA crop specialists will be visiting Manitoulin as part of a NEOSCIA sponsored tour. The tour details are as follows: the Crop Caravan will start at John McNaughton’s farm to see a switchgrass plot starting at 1:30 pm July 18. Then stop next is at John Featherstone’s farm on Barrie Island for a pasture demonstration. This will be followed by stops in Gordon Township to see a corn plot at Northland Agromart and a tour of Max Burt’s hulless barley plot. If interested, please join us at John McNaughton’s Farm, 19635 Hwy 6, Tehkummah, by 1:15 pm on Monday, July 18.
Business Management Speaker and Event Funding
The Ontario agri-food industry is encouraged to apply to AMI’s Business Management Speaker and Event Funding. Any registered organization, agency, association, community group, institution, university, college, or group located in Ontario may apply to cover the costs associated with organizing or bringing a business management speaker to an Ontario event. This funding is open to Agrifood and Agriproducts businesses including a focus on farm and food and beverage businesses.
