Farmers: safely dispose of your unwanted agricultural pesticides and livestock/equine medications from September 20-30 at one of the following locations at no charge. Collection sites will only be accepting targeted products from 9 am until 4 pm at each location on the date indicated. September 27 to 29,

Environmental Farm Plan
The Environmental Farm Plan (EFP) is an assessment voluntarily prepared by farm families to increase their environmental awareness in up to 23 different areas on their farm. Through the EFP local workshop process, farmers highlight their farm’s environmental strengths, identify areas of environmental concern, and set realistic action plans with time tables to improve environmental conditions. The EFP can then be used in conjunction with cost-share programs to begin implementing their action plans. An EFP is scheduled for Manitoulin on October 18 and 25.
