A farewell from Brian Bell
Hi everyone. As I pen this last column, it is hard to realize that June 11 is my last day in the office. I am retiring after 30 great years with OMAFRA. I wish to extend my deepest appreciation to The Manitoulin Expositor for supporting a community agriculture column for over 20 years. To the Manitoulin and West Sudbury clientele that I have come to know, you are all incredible, hardworking, dedicated and passionate about agriculture, food and your rural communities. I have had the privilege of working in a very dynamic and ever-changing sector- one so critical to our wellbeing. All the very best and I sincerely hope that our paths may cross again.
