International Plowing Match volunteers sought
The Steppers and Greeters committee is looking for people to safely and effectively assist moving guests from the parking lots to the tented city and back again. Steppers and Greeters will be assisting and greeting guests as they board and disembark from wagons and will also move steps to and from the arriving wagons. The volunteers interested in helping as Steppers and Greeters must be personable/outgoing, no mobility issues and ability to lift 20 lbs. Each volunteer will receive a one-day pass to the IPM. Field crop budgets
These crop budgets are a tool for estimating expenses. The sample costs are only a guide to illustrate a method of preparing your projections. They are based on many assumptions, including seeding rates, levels of fertilizer use, etc. Due to regional differences, there may be considerable variation in results. To project your break-even price after total costs, enter your farm figures in the spaces provided. The resulting estimate will help you choose your crop mix and set target prices and marketing strategies for your farm.
