Health and Safety Awareness Training for Workers and Supervisors

A new regulation under Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) will require health and safety awareness training for every worker and supervisor. The regulation comes into force July 1, 2014, allowing workplace parties’ time to prepare. Guide to Weed Control 2014 – 2015, Publication 75: The weed guide has once again been updated to include the latest information on managing weeds in all crops and agriculture situations. Full publication is available online in both English and French. As a tool for estimating expenses, sample costs are provided as a guide to illustrate a method of preparing your own projections. This publication is available in both English and French.

Lambing Diary, Publication 834: This updated pocket-sized booklet is designed to record lambing activity for a sheep farm business during the busiest time of the production cycle. The free booklet contains charts to record births, deaths, cull animals and health treatments. The Lambing Diary also offers useful information about caring for hypothermic lambs and a lambing date calendar. This is available in both English and French.
