1913 – 2010
Jennie passed away peacefully at the F.J. Davey Home with her family around her on December 19,2010. Jennie welcomed everyone with open arms. She always made you feel that you were the only one in the room and that she had eyes and ears only for you. She was sharp as a tack, always had you wondering if your character was spot on, and whether you could be doing better. Jennie was an avid hockey player, card shark, peace maker, story teller, pie maker, and lover of sports, life and family. Jennie will be greatly missed by her five daughters: Monica McNally (late Gerald), Frances Thomas (Skip), Kathryn Heis, Margaret Jamieson (Pat), and Ann Marie Pippy (Grant). Jennie will also be sadly missed by her 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Predeceased by husband Wilfred, twin sister Teresa Lapointe, and brothers Joe and Louis Lapointe. Many thanks to Penny for making the last while easier. Memorial Service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Little Current, with burial of ashes in St. Bernard’s Cemetery A luncheon will follow.
