ESPANOLA—An Espanola resident has declared her intention to seek the Liberal nomination in the 2015 federal election for Algoma-Manitoulin-Kapuskasing.
Heather Wilson, who is a financial controller for the Canadian Tire store in Espanola, has declared she is seeking the nomination for the next federal election. She and her husband, along with their three sons, have lived in the riding for more than 18 years.
Ms. Wilson indicated that in the area of how governments handle tax money, it should be done in an effective and efficient manner.
It is anticipated the Liberals in this riding will select their candidate sometime in 2014.
The federal seat for Algoma-Manitoulin-Kapuskasing is currently held by Carol Hughes of the NDP.
