In loving memory of Earl Russell Freeman, a resident of Little Current, who passed away peacefully at the Mindemoya Hospital on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at the age of 95. Beloved husband of the late Effie Josephine Freeman (nee Case). Loving father of Karen (Hiram), Randy (Penny), Kathy (Tony) (both predeceased) and Sheryl (Terry). Proud grandfather and great-grandfather of many. Cherished brother of Gelena Hopkin (predeceased), Marion (Harold predeceased) Case, Lorraine (Ted) Eadie (both predeceased), Margaret DiBonaventura (predeceased), Betty Lawson (predeceased), Myrna (Ken) Beaton, Brenda Robinson-Lavell (Dave), Larry Freeman (predeceased), Lynn Freeman (predeceased), Dick Freeman (predeceased) and Conrad (Judy) Freeman. Predeceased by his parents Ernest and Flora “Mildred” Freeman (nee Russell). Earl will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends gathered at Island Funeral Home on Monday, June 6, 2022 from 11 am to 1 pm. Funeral Service followed at 1 pm. Burial in Hilly Grove Cemetery. Donations may be made in Earl’s honour to the Manitoulin Centennial Manor Auxilary or the Little Current United Church.
