DOUGLAS STEVEN SLAGHT

In loving memory of Douglas Steven Slaght who passed away peacefully January 1, 2012 at the age of 63. Cherished husband of Anne, loving father to Bob (Kim) of Cambridge, Bill (Amanda) of Little Current, Ellie who will always be Doug’s canine princess, and brother-in-law to Olga of Little Current. Doug will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Melissa, Alison, Jared and Bradley. Great-grandfather to Tathalia who was the light of his life. Dear brother to Judy (Ron) of Dryden, Lee (Connie) of Sarnia, Patrick (Bernice) of Welland, Frany (Kenny) of Lethbridge. Doug started his life in New Liskard and his love of x-ray later brought him to Manitoulin. He loved to be with his friends and family, whether he was volunteering in the community, in the x-ray department or sitting in the hot tub. Doug brought joy to everything he did and loved and lived life to the fullest. A special thank you to Dr. K. Clackett and the staff of the Espanola Hospital, the EMS and police service of Espanola.
