The family announces with sorrow her death at her home on December 27, 2015 at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of Lyness Wark of Providence Bay. Daughter of the late George and of the late Pearl White. Cherished mother of Gloria (Theodore) Taliotis of Mindemoya, Gwen (Chris) Denny of Manitouwadge, Gavin (Peggy) Wark of Kitchener, Fay (Charlie) Becks of Mindemoya and Evangeline (Edward) Moffatt of Brampton. Dear sister of Mildred Sauder and Raymond White. Loving grandmother to Christy, Elena, Mary Beth, Amber, Benjamin, Ryan, Shauna, Evan, Jonathan, Quinn, Tess, and 12 great-grandchildren. Helen lived and loved to serve her family, church and community. She was a member of the Women’s Missionary Society, worked as camp cook for church camps, volunteered at Haven House, delivered Meals on Wheels. The family received friends at the Mindemoya Missionary Church on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 1 pm to 2 pm. A funeral service followed at 2 pm.
