In loving memory of Dennis Marvin Van Horn who passed away at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Monday, July 11, 2022. Son of Catherine (predeceased) and Melvin (predeceased). Dennis is survived and much loved by his wife and best friend, Susan; his children Linda, Marvin (Cathie), Mel (Sherrie), Jack (Sally) and step-children Dawn (Michael), Ted (Kim), Sherri (Slade); 14 grandchildren and three great-granchildren. Loving brother of Judy, Dale (predeceased) (Donna), Ian (predeceased) (Sharleen), Kim (Donna); brothers-in-law Don McIntosh (Betti) and Ron McIntosh (Val). Dennis is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as best friends Gabby and Ginger. Dennis was a friend to everyone who crossed his path, never turned down a call for help or a favour. He loved operating heavy equipment and working on the roads, at which he was an absolute pro. Donations in Dennis’ memory and in lieu of flowers may be made to ‘Lets Emerg Together’, Mindemoya Hospital. Cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will take place at a later date as per Dennis’ wishes.
