‘You don’t help a community by trying to tear it apart’
To the Expositor:
I am writing in response to all the misinformation in the paper about Tehkummah Township (‘Special meeting of Tehkummah council ends precipitously,’ May 31, Page 3). First I will say that I for one support Reeve Russell. I believe what happened at the short meeting of May 25 was a set-up.
In the last year or so, we lost three of our roads crew because of inappropriate and continuous harassment. Our roads don’t look so good anymore.
In my opinion, since the last election and especially in the last year there has been collusion to undermine the reeve and disrupt the township business.
You don’t help a community by trying to tear it apart. A township meeting in a large enough venue could help clear the air and this should happen as soon as possible.
