In loving memory of David Ian VanHorn who passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, September 26, 2011 at the age of 63. Survived by his beloved wife Sharleen (nee Ferguson). Cherished children son Darryl (Tammy) Van Horn and daughter Shannon (Marc) Drouin. Proud Grandpa of grandchildren Jamey, Taylor, Brandon, Jamie and Shay-Lynn. Predeceased by parents Melvin and Catherine (nee Sampson) VanHorn. Remembered by sister Judy VanHorn, brothers Dennis (Sue), Dale (predeceased) (Donna), Kim (Donna), sister-in-law Lori Ferguson (Tracey). Also remembered by Susan Lanktree-VanHorn. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Will be missed by granddogs Gizmo, Gus and Cash. Visitation was 6 pm – 9 pm on Wednesday, September 28, 2011. Funeral Service was at 11 am on Thursday, September 29, 2011. All at St. Francis of Assissi Anglican Church, Mindemoya, Ontario with Rev. Canon Bain Peever officiating. Burial in Mindemoya Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted with Island Funeral Home, Little Current.
