After speaking with the driver of the vehicle, officers determined that he had been consuming alcoholic beverages.

As a result of the investigation, Donovan INGLIS, age 35, of Little Current, Ontario is charged with:

 • Driving While Ability Impaired – Alcohol, contrary to section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code (CC); and
  • Driving with More than 80 mg of Alcohol in Blood, contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the CC.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Provincial Court of Justice in Gore Bay, Ontario on December 12, 2018.

The OPP relies on the public to report crime and impaired driving is a crime that should be treated no differently. If you suspect that someone is driving or about to drive impaired by alcohol and/or drugs, call 9-1-1 and report it.
