Come dance and sing with Splash’N Boots

LITTLE CURRENT—It’s time to dance with another great new family event to the Haweater Weekend lineup, Treehouse TV’s Splash’N Boots, the dynamic duo that are making a yellow and blue splash in the rich history of Canadian children’s music. Come sing and dance with them at the Little Current recreation centre!

Splash’N Boots joined the Treehouse family in February 2015, the number one pre-school channel in Canada. In just one year, they have created two seasons and over 100 episodes which air for to six times daily in 8.3 million homes across the country. This high energy concert is one that is not to be missed and is sure to put a smile on the faces of everyone in the family.

The cutting-edge pair enjoy coordinating blue and yellow with red-coloured carpet, having been nominated in 2014 and 2015 for Children’s Album at the Year at the JUNO Awards and were crowned Canadian Children’s Music Group of the Year three times at the Sirius XM Independent Music Awards.

They have also shared stages with iconic children’s entertainer Fred Penner and in 2011, Splash’N Boots toured across Canada as the stars of Treehouse TV’s Roll Play LIVE, which aired nationally on the popular children’s network. In 2014 and 2015 they filled the massive Molson Amphitheatre for Treehouse-televised performances alongside world renowned children’s entertainers, The Wiggles.

“Splash’N Boots music is timeless and universal, with just the right amount of ridiculous–creating opportunities for parents and children to enjoy and share the moment, and enabling kids to feel empowered and positive,” their website boasts. “Unique and inventive, the tireless duo is constantly producing new material for the next generation of Puddle Jumpers (the name given to Splash’N Boots fans).”

Since there’s always a new dance move to try out, a new reason to give a hug, Splash’N Boots continue to be passionate about what they do, inspired by the children they meet and continually prove to have an undeniably fresh approach to family entertainment.

The Little Current Lions Club is pleased to bring this great family event to its audience with two shows on offer for Haweater Weekend, both in the upstairs hall of the Little Current recreation centre located on Highway 6: Saturday, July 30 at 10:30 am and again on Sunday, July 31 at 10:30 am. The cost of admission is $10 for adults and $5 for kids. There will be time to meet this fun-loving duo after the shows too.
