Column: MSS Kids in the Hall

Welcome back! It is the final week of February, and that means the first month of the second semester has been completed! As always, the Mustangs have been busy!

MSS’s production of Mamma Mia! wrapped up on Saturday, February 22 with the final show setting a new audience record! A staggering 350 people packed into the auditorium, making it the most-attended performance in MSS history.

From the energy of the cast to the impressive stage design and live music, the show was an undeniable success. The hard work of the students, teachers, and volunteers who put the show together certainly paid off. This show was especially important to many graduating members of the cast as it marked the end of their time in high school musicals. While next year’s show hasn’t been announced yet, students and staff are eager to take on another unforgettable performance.

Tryouts and practices for the school’s badminton team will begin this week after school. Whether you’ve played before or just starting out, all students are welcome to participate.

Here’s the schedule: Tuesday, February 25 and Wednesday, February 26.

If you’re interested in joining, be sure to bring your gear and come ready to play. For more information, reach out to Mr. Tallman, Mr. Smith, or Mrs. Watson-Smith.

Students, take note – course changes are no longer being accepted as of February 19. If you were thinking about adjusting your schedule, the final day to request a course change was February 18. All courses are now locked in for the year! To sign up for an appointment with Guidance, use the Google Form in your Guidance Google Classroom or scan the QR code posted in the Guidance office.

That is all for this week! Until next time, go Mustangs, go!!
