Our Cookie Walk in early December 2024 was deemed a great success with $1,730 raised. A big thank you to all who donated their finest Christmas cookies and to all who came and bought them.
The Lions Club has been generous in helping with our fundraising efforts and provided the auxiliary with a substantial donation from the Tim Horton’s Smile Cookie Campaign last November.
At our January meeting, it was reported that 18 gifts had been distributed to patients in the hospital on Christmas Eve. An annual tradition taken on by two of our auxiliary members.
2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the Little Current Hospital Auxiliary. There are plans in the works for various celebratory events, especially in the summer months, so stay-tuned for more information on what’s to come.
The Little Current Hospital Auxiliary is holding its 3rd annual Rock-a-thon on Saturday, February 22 at the United Church in Little Current. Members will ‘rock,’ literally rock, bringing their own rocking chairs to the hall and rocking from 10 am until 3 pm, with 10-minute breaks each hour. So, if you’re accosted by an auxiliary member looking for pledges, do not be afraid. Please give what you can, the money raised by the auxiliary goes toward patient services and hospital equipment.
