CLAYTON RICHARD WEMIGWANS

Wemigwans-DeathClayton Richard Wemigwans, a resident of Wikwemikong, died peacefully at Manitoulin Health Centre, on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the age of 60. Born to Mary Wemigwans Gaiashk and John Wemigwans (both predeceased), in Manitowaning, on January 14, 1955. Beloved husband of Valli Wemigwans. Loved father of Richard Wemigwans of Toronto and Micheal Roy of Wikwemikong. Thoughtful stepfather to Orville C.L.C Wikwemikong. Proud grandfather of Jonathan. Survived by brothers Martin (Deborah), Raymond and Larry; all of Wikwemikong, Gerald (Myra) of Thunder Bay, sisters Stella Weise of Toronto, Margaret Baptiste (David) of Golden Lake, Victoria of Wikwemikong, Elizabeth of Toronto, Irene Morrison (Alex) of Makmora, Barbara Robinson (Terrance predeceased) of Palmer Rapids, Bernita of Golden Lake and Mary Louise of Toronto. Will always be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Richard will be remembered as a hard working generous man with a heart of gold who was helpful to all. He gave the best part of his life to his wife Valli, which became the best part of hers. Family and friends gathered at St. Ignatius Church, Buzwah on Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 4 pm.
