Christy Case the new principal at Little Current Public School

LITTLE CURRENT—Christy Case has been appointed principal of Little Current Public School starting this fall.

For the past year, Ms. Case served as principal of Central Manitoulin Public School. She also served as principal of Charles C. McLean Public School in Gore Bay for four years.

Prior to becoming a principal, Christy Case was vice-principal of Little Current Public School for two-and-a-half years. She was also a teacher for the deaf and hard of hearing. Principal Case has taught various grades from Kindergarten to Grade 8 in Rainbow Schools on Manitoulin Island. She looks forward to returning to Little Current Public School to work with students, staff, parents/guardians and the community.

The first day of school is Wednesday, September 6, 2017. There will be no early dismissal on the first day.
