MINDEMOYA—The Central Manitoulin Archery Club recently held its opening tournament of the season.

The tournament was held in Mindemoya on January 25. Those participating included Landon Seifried in the Peewee Male Compound division, Noah Holmes in Pre-cub Male Compound, Harvey Bell in the Senior Male Compound Unlimited category and Sheila Madahbee in the Senior Female Compound division.

The International Field Archery Association (IFAA) Indoor Round is a province-wide tournament put on by the Ontario Association of Archers (OAA), said Jake Diebolt of the CMAC.

“Our archers competed with others in their categories all over Ontario,” said Mr. Diebolt. “We had a good showing by all our shooters.”
