CARL JAMES ISAIAH (MANDY) PELTIER

In loving memory of Carl James Isaiah (Mandy) Peltier, born on August 30, 1963, who started his Journey to the Spirit World on August 21, 2017. Loving partner of Faye Corbiere and cherished father of Keasha (Nathan), Jackilene, Ethan, Corey and Tanya. Proud grandfather of Cameron and Serenity Lynn, Jlyn, Conan, Shayla, Lillie, Aiden and Kyla. Son of Isaiah and Lena Peltier (predeceased). Dear brother of Joyce (husband Dennis), Gail (husband Ronald), George (friend Darlene), Eugene (friend Amanda), Carol (friend Wesley), Victoria (friend Christine) and Henry. Forever in the hearts of his nieces and nephews; Logan (Genevieve), Dustin (Lisa), Tammy (Dana), Dwayne (Brenda), Stacey (Fabian), Meiyette, Jewel (Paul), Elliot, Jason (Amy), Abby (John) and his great-nieces and nephews (Mason, Animkee, Alexandrine, Teyla, Arianna, Gabriella, Raiden, Shaleya and Xavier). Carl loved visiting and playing with his children and grandchildren. He was a grandfather, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to so many. Godson to Patrick Wabegijig (predeceased) and Dorothy Recollet. He’ll be remembered as a hard worker and someone who always liked to laugh and was always there to lend a helping hand . He enjoyed walks in the bush, playing pool, horseshoes, watching hockey and working. He spent 10 years working for the Wikwemikong Nursing Home, two years as a homecare provider for Amikook, and his handiwork can be seen all around the community of Wiikwemkoong as he also worked for Wikwemikong Housing for 25 years. He’ll be dearly missed by everyone who got to know him. Family and friends gathered at St. Ignatius Church in Buzwah on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 6 pm. Funeral Service took place at Holy Cross Mission Church in Wikwemikong on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 11 am, followed by burial in the Wikwemikong Upper Cemetery. We never lose the ones we love For even though they’re gone, Within the hearts of those who care Their memory lingers on. Record your thoughts, memories and photos at www.islandfuneralhome.ca.
